Poland: Daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19: 211,886, new infections: 16,173

The daily number of vaccinations against COVID-19 was 211,886, a total of 48,643,742 vaccinations were carried out, the Ministry of Health (MZ) reported. The number of new and confirmed cases of infection was 16 173.

So far, 96,550,560 doses of the vaccine have been delivered to Poland. 51,035,195 were sent to vaccination centers and 743,048 were disposed of, the ministry said on its vaccination page.

The number of adverse vaccine reactions was 17,139.

The number of fully vaccinated people is 21 329 145.

The ministry also said today that 16,173 new cases of infection have been reported, confirmed by positive laboratory tests.

"We have 16 173 new and confirmed cases of #coronavirus infection from the following voivodships: Mazowieckie (2812), Małopolskie (2174), Śląskie (1898), Dolnośląskie (1334), Greater Poland (1270), Pomeranian (1040), Podkarpackie (919), Lublin (774), Łódzkie (758), Zachodniopomorskie (616), Kujawsko-Pomorskie (612), Warmińsko-Mazurskie (462), Opolskie (442), Świętokrzyskie (367), Lubuskie (293), Podlasie (280). 122 infections these are data without indicating the address, which will be supplemented by the sanitary inspection," the ministry announced on its Twitter profile.

The number of people infected with the coronavirus is 4,248,559 people, 3,741,583 have recovered.

Over 99.4 thousand jobs were performed during the last day. coronavirus tests, the total number of samples tested was over 28.1 million, the ministry also said.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, as of this morning, 183,295 people were quarantined, 17,155 people were hospitalized (out of 30,781 beds for COVID-19 patients). 1,682 ventilators were occupied (out of 2,790 ventilators available in hospitals).
