The Ministry of Development and Technology estimates that the share of fixed-rate loans, which now accounts for approx. 5% of all loans, will increase by an average of 5 percentage points. percent annually, said Minister of Development and Technology Waldemar Buda.

"We predict that the y / y share of fixed interest rate loans will increase by 5 percentage points. In four years we will have approximately a quarter of mortgage loans, which will be concluded with a fixed interest rate," Buda said during a press conference.

"Our market is unique in this respect. That is, the number of concluded loans with a fixed interest rate is around 5%, while the American market is 95%, the French market is 90%. a larger, significantly larger share of housing mortgage loans was concluded with a fixed interest rate," he added.

In his opinion, this is the direction in which the entire market of mortgage and housing loans for individual clients should go.
