The number of job offers in the IT industry increased by over 47% y / y in Q1 2022, while the upper median of earnings in B2B contracts increased by 12% y / y, data shows No Fluff Jobs.

The demand for the services of IT specialists, including those occupying non-programming positions, is growing year by year, which is confirmed by the data from No Fluff Jobs. The portal decided to compare the first quarter of 2022 in the industry to the same period last year. According to the analysis, in the case of job offers, the increase was significant and amounted to over 47%. Moreover, employees could count on higher salaries. The upper median of earnings in the case of B2B contracts was PLN 21 thousand net + VAT. This is 12% more than in the first quarter last year, according to the announcement.

According to Gartner's forecasts quoted in the material, global spending on IT services this year will increase by over 5% y / y and will amount to nearly USD 4.5 billion.

According to No Fluff Jobs, this is reflected not only in the greater number of job offers for IT professionals (compared to the first three months of 2021 with the same period in 2022), but also in the amount of earnings offered to them.

According to the portal, the median of the salary range in the first quarter of this year in the case of a B2B contract amounted to 15-21 thousand. net + VAT (PLN 13.4-18.4 net + VAT in 2021). This means that the lower band was 10% higher than in the previous year, and the upper band was 12% higher. In turn, those who decided to be employed on the basis of a contract of employment could count on salaries between 10.7 and 17 thousand. PLN gross. The lower forks were thus in this case larger by more than 6%, and the upper - by almost 12%.
