Polcom has announced plans to invest PLN 100 million by 2026 to expand its cloud and AI services. The investment includes the construction of two data centres and the launch of a new service platform, Polcom AI Cloud, designed to support businesses needing advanced computing infrastructure.

Polcom CEO Marcin Gwóźdź emphasized that customer needs drive the company’s development. “By the end of 2026, we aim to have one of the two new data centres fully operational to provide scalable infrastructure for AI and machine learning platforms,” he said.

The company has allocated 70% of its investment budget for product development, including the Polcom Cloud and cybersecurity systems. In response to growing demand for cloud services and high-performance IT systems, Polcom updated its strategy to include the new data centres and the Polcom AI Cloud platform.

The Polcom AI Cloud, launching by the end of 2024, will enable businesses to leverage AI infrastructure based on actual consumption, optimizing costs for AI-driven projects. Vice President Wiesław Wilk highlighted that this new service will merge AI and cloud computing, offering businesses access to powerful computing without large upfront investments.

The first of the new data centres, DC3, will be completed by 2026, providing high-power computing capabilities that cater to the needs of AI and machine learning applications. Polcom’s continued investment underscores its commitment to meeting the growing technological demands of businesses across industries.
