Polish pensions will increase by PLN 87.56 to PLN 1,338.44 from 1 March

As a result of 7% After indexation, the lowest retirement pension, total disability pension and survivor's pension will increase from March 1 this year. to PLN 1,338.44 from PLN 1,250.88 currently, i.e. by PLN 87.56, was announced by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy (Ministry of Family and Social Policy).

"The lowest retirement pension, disability pension and survivor's pension will increase from PLN 1,250.88 to PLN 1,338.44, i.e. by PLN 87.56. In turn, the lowest pension due to partial incapacity to work will increase from PLN 938.16 to PLN 1003.83 - that's PLN 65.67 more, it was announced.

From March 1 this year, indexation of pensions will amount to 7%.

Taking into account the macroeconomic indicators announced by the President of the Central Statistical Office, i.e. the inflation rate in 2021 and the real increase in the average wage in 2021, at 20% share of real wage growth in the indexation index - the indexation of old-age and disability pensions in 2022 would be 105.7%

"The cost of valorization at the rate of 105.7% would amount to approximately PLN 15 billion. With the valorization rate at the level of 107%, the cost of valorization will amount to approximately PLN 18.4 billion, of which PLN 3.4 billion results from an increase in the real growth rate wages in the indexation ratio from 20% to 63.33%, it was further announced.
