Panattoni has leased out over 5,200 sqm to Polpack Zeus, a company that specialises in the manufacture and distribution of modern packaging solutions. With this transaction, City Logistics Warsaw VII on ul. Bukowiecka in Warsaw has become fully leased.

Polpack Zeus, which is a part of the Zeus Group from Ireland, has taken the decision to lease space in City Logistics Warsaw VII due to its superb location near the centre of Warsaw and its easy access to the city’s main arterial roads.

“This is a strategic location that guarantees us more efficient operations and supports our ambitious expansion plans. The new centre will allow us not only to optimise our logistics but also to increase the manufacturing capacity of our packaging machines. As well as this, it is not far from our former head office, which means that the travelling time taken by our employees will not change by much,” explains Kamil Woliński, Country Manager at Polpack Zeus.

The company is to use the new space in Warsaw to consolidate various departments. It will serve as a central warehouse, a pallet wrapping and servicing centre as well as a modern office area and showroom (with 500 sqm over two floors). Operations in the new centre are planned to start in January 2025. The centre will also become the main Zeus logistics hub for this part of Europe.

“We are proud that we could attract a major tenant as big as Polpack Zeus, who fully appreciates the potential and standard of our new urban centre,” says Michał Samborski, Head of Development at Panattoni and he adds:“City Logistics Warsaw VII comprises modern logistics space that meets the growing demands of the market with its superb location and with the solutions it employs, including those to protect the environment.”

The developer is to prepare the floors with induction plates for the interior transport vehicles and also install solar panelling, which together with other solutions for improving thermal insulation and saving energy, will improve the energy efficiency of the building. Inside, water usage has also been limited by almost 65% in comparison to the average baseline model. The development has been environmentally certified under BREEAM for a rating of Excellent.

Up till now, Panattoni has delivered over 142,000 sqm of space in urban parks in Warsaw while a further 88,000 sqm is currently under construction. Across all of Poland, Panattoni has a portfolio of urban developments with a size approaching 600,000 sqm. These types of centres are extremely popular with tenants due to being located near city centres, with the possibility of being adapted to tenants’ differing needs and due to employing technologically-advanced and environmentally-friendly solutions.
