The Polytechnic University of Bucharest is preparing to develop one of the largest technology parks in Romania. The 3.6-hectare site near the Ciurel depot in Sector 6 belongs to the university. The investment is estimated at more than EUR 70 million.

The complex is to consist of office buildings, student dormitories, an educational building, an event building, conference rooms, commercial, service and catering facilities, a healthcare building, a data centre, an outdoor swimming pool, a fitness room and tennis and football pitches.

The three student dormitories will be 11 storeys high and have a total floor area of around 26,000 sqm, equivalent to more than 800 accommodation units. The complex also has 5 office buildings planned with a combined floor area of over 47,000 sqm.
The multi-purpose building, which will also house shops, has an area of 2,280 sqm.
