Port Rumia achieves full occupancy as new brands strengthen retail offering
The Auchan Shopping Centre in Port Rumia has reached full occupancy, solidifying its role as a key retail destination in the Pomeranian region. Managed by the Nhood Services Poland team and owned by Ceetrus Polska, the centre continues to attract well-known brands across various sectors. Recent additions include Fielmann, HalfPrice, IKEA, and iDream, while long-standing tenants such as Martes Sport, RTV Euro AGD, and Vision Express have renewed their lease agreements.
Over the past six months, more than half of the retail space at Port Rumia has been commercialized or recommercialized. According to Aleksandra Krupa, retail space commercialization leader at Nhood Services Poland, this progress is the result of a carefully planned strategy and strong tenant relationships. She emphasized that the centre aims to maintain its position as a leading shopping destination while continuously improving its offerings and customer experience.
Port Rumia has also expanded its fashion portfolio, introducing new brands such as HalfPrice, Ryłko, Venezia, and Top Secret. A notable addition is Lancerto x Próchnik, which has launched its first concept store in the Tri-City area. Meanwhile, technology enthusiasts can now visit iDream, an Apple Premium Reseller store, which opened on March 1. The store offers a full range of Apple products, financing options, and business solutions, including leasing and hardware exchange programs.
Health and beauty services have also been strengthened with the arrival of Fielmann, along with a new perfume and cosmetics store, Markove, which brings a selection of products from Dubai. IKEA is set to open in May, providing a showroom where customers can explore interior design ideas, collect online orders, and access design services.
Port Rumia’s continued growth is part of a long-term strategy to optimize its retail mix and create a modern shopping environment. Aleksandra Krupa noted that ongoing investments will further enhance the shopping experience, reinforcing the centre’s strong market position.
Since opening in 2007, the Auchan Shopping Centre in Rumia has built a loyal customer base by offering a diverse range of over 80 stores, including fashion, electronics, home goods, and personal care. The centre is also home to an Auchan hypermarket, Agata furniture store, Leroy Merlin, Decathlon, Komfort, and an Auchan petrol station. In addition to retail, Port Rumia regularly hosts events for visitors and provides a free car park with 2,100 spaces, including charging stations for electric vehicles.
