PPC (Public Power Corporation), the Greek group that took over the assets of Enel Romania, signed an agreement for the purchase of a large wind farm in Romania from a company owned by Lukoil.
It is about the Dorobanțu-Topolog wind farm in Tulcea County, developed and operated by Land Power, a company controlled until now by the Russians from Lukoil. The park was commissioned in 2014, after the project was bought from an Italian company, and has an installed capacity of 84MW.
The completion of the transaction will most likely take place at the end of 2023. This could be the first sign that the Russians are starting to liquidate assets in Romania.
