Real estate developers Prime Kapital and MAS PLC are moving ahead with plans to develop three major shopping malls in Romania. Following the successful opening of Argeș Mall earlier this year, the companies are now focused on securing approvals and authorizations for their upcoming projects.

One of the new malls will be located in Bacău on a 34.2-hectare plot purchased from the Pavăl brothers, owners of Dedeman. This mall will feature 51,000 square meters of retail space.

In Cluj-Napoca, the developers plan to construct a massive shopping center on the former site of the Cesarom factory, with 130,000 square meters of rentable space.

In Bucharest, an open-air mall spanning 28,000 square meters is slated for development on the former IMGB industrial platform, alongside plans to build over 3,000 residential units.

These projects reflect Prime Kapital and MAS RE’s continued commitment to expanding their real estate footprint across Romania.
