Private equity firm McWin Capital Partners takes over Popeyes franchise in Romania

The private equity firm McWin Capital Partners has become the exclusive franchisee for the Popeyes brand in Romania through the Rex Concepts quick-service restaurant platform.

Under the agreement signed by the two parties, Rex Concepts will manage the brand in Romania and begin operating six restaurants following the acquisition of the current Popeyes operator in Romania.
Rex Concepts is also committed to growing the brand to more than 90 Popeyes restaurants in the country over the next 10 years.
