Publix Super Markets bought a retail center that it anchors for $15.7m. Located in Hialeah on a 7.3 acre site, the 64,260 sq ft Paraiso Plaza traded for just over $244 per sq ft. In addition to the new owner, the center is also home to an IHOP, Little Caesars Pizza and Chase Bank. The seller, an affiliate of DDR Corp., bought the 21-year-old property for $9.65m in 2003. DDR owns and manages more than 300 open-air shopping centers across the country.
