Quadoro GmbH, acting as the asset manager for the landmark T-Center property in Vienna, has successfully completed the BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) certification process for the building. This prestigious certification underscores the building’s sustainability and excellence.

The certification process for the T-Center included an inspection, a pre-check, documentation of evidence, submission by an auditor, and a final review by the certifying body, TÜV SÜD. The T-Center achieved an impressive score of 76.96%, earning an "Excellent" rating. The certification audit was conducted by Mr. Urbanowski from CBRE GmbH.

Svjetlana Matic, Branch Manager of Quadoro GmbH in Vienna, commented: “This rating is one of the highest in Austria. Several optimization measures were implemented during the certification process, including lux measurements, lighting documentation, and a climate risk analysis.”

Building certifications such as BREEAM assess a building's sustainability based on specific criteria. Only licensed auditors can submit building audits which are then independently reviewed to ensure accuracy. The certification is valid for three years, encouraging continuous improvements.

For tenants, a building’s sustainability is important for various reasons. Beyond enhancing their image and fulfilling corporate social responsibility, many companies specifically seek certified properties to take advantage of lower operating costs, a safer and healthier work environment, comprehensive waste separation measures and the like.
