Radisson Hotel Group will operate a hotel in the Central District Lagoon City

Forty Management has announced that Radisson Hotel Group has been selected to operate the hotel in the Central District Lagoon City mixed-use project in Bucharest.

Radisson Lagoon Hotel Bucharest will be a luxury hotel with 323 rooms, spa, 1,100 sqm of private sandy beach and access to a lagoon of over 10,000 sqm, restaurants and retail spaces.

"Central District Lagoon City is a first-of-its-kind project, both in terms of innovation and sustainability, as well as huge interest from international hotel operators. In my 16 years of experience in hotel development I have never had 11 international brands interested in a project," says Mircea Drăghici, CEO of EST Hospitality, the Forty Management consultant.

Lagoon City, which will also include 401 apartments, 9,200 sqm of commercial and service space, an 8,500 sqm Class A office building and countless other amenities.
