March of this year was the best March of the last five in the residential segment, with a record of transactions in each of the first five regional residential markets, according to SVN Romania data, based on data ff the National Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising Agency (ANCPI). The first five regional markets are Bucharest - Ilfov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta, Timisoara and Brasov. Almost 5,200 properties were sold in the Capital, compared to 3,300 in March 2020 and almost 3,600 in March 2019.

"The residential market is going through the best moment in recent years: it is seen in the increase in the number of transactions, in the delivery records, it is seen in the constant improvement of the accessibility of purchasing a new home and in the constant reduction of interest rates. Although it is not without risks and the competition is fierce, the investments made in the residential segment bring among the best yields at the moment and this will be maintained in the future. Well-designed projects with professional sales teams record exceptional results and we will witness new launches of significant investment projects ", said Andrei Sârbu, CEO of SVN Romania.
