REICO launches Qualified Investor Fund focused on Residential Rental Housing
REICO Investment Company of Česká spořitelna (EAM) has launched a new fund for qualified investors, with a focus on residential rental housing. The subscription period runs from 20 August to 30 September 2025, and the company aims to raise at least CZK 500 million from investors, primarily through the Erste Private Banking segment. This is the first fund of its kind offered by REICO.
The initial investment will target two interconnected apartment buildings within the Barrandov Cascade development in Prague, comprising 207 residential units and 191 parking spaces. Construction, to be carried out by developer FINEP, is expected to begin in December. The minimum entry investment is CZK 1 million, with a recommended holding period of seven years. Details of the fund were presented to Erste Private Banking bankers at a meeting in Rytířská Palace in Prague and will be further introduced to clients during an investment conference in early September.
REICO entered the residential rental housing segment in 2024 with the acquisition of the Nový Opatov G1 building in Prague for its REICO PROPERTY fund. In 2025, the company added a second project, Stodůlky Residential, also developed by FINEP. The new qualified investor fund continues this expansion strategy in the rental housing market, which has seen growing demand in recent years.
