The price of construction materials drops by 6 percent for brick, 3-4 percent for iron-concrete. Manufacturers say we will see a stagnant market. In contrast to the year 2023, when manufacturers of construction materials engaged in active promotional campaigns, the situation has changed today, becoming more and more difficult for them to maintain prices at a competitive level without compromising product quality.

Companies in the construction materials industry are facing a paradigm shift, where low demand leads to a market decline.

"Increased inflation and high interest rates have caused the residential sector to decline and we expect a gradual reversal of the trend. Obviously, the impact is also felt in the construction materials market," says Daniel Sologon, the CEO of the Cemacon Cluj-Napoca brick manufacturer.
