KMG Rompetrol Development implements an eMobility project, co-financed by the European Union through the financing instrument "Mechanism for Interconnecting Europe".

The aim of the project is to install 11 300 kW charging stations (each station with two 150 kW charging points) and upgrade the grid connection for 11 locations.
The estimated total value of the project is approximately EUR 2.2 million, of which approximately EUR 900 thousand will be granted by the European Union. The project period is 36 months.

"Through the investment we are going to make with the financial support of the European Union, in the infrastructure of charging stations for electric vehicles, we will contribute to a greener future, promoting innovation and economic growth at the same time," said Laurentiu Colțănel, Group Director Network Planning and Development within KMG International (Rompetrol).
