Drug manufacturer Rompharm Company, controlled by Bulgarian Venelin Stoyanov Georgiev and Aida Georgiev, is planning to set up a new factory on the site of an office and warehouse building near its existing factory in Otopeni.

"The offices will be converted into laboratories and the storage area will be converted into a production area. The intention is to extend the building with a new building of about 200 sqm with a technical function. The plant is intended for the production of medicinal products for human use in the form of solutions and lyophilised powders for the preparation of injectable/perfusible solutions. The products manufactured by RPH are to be distributed on both domestic and foreign markets," the company said.

The property on which the investment will be made consists of a plot of land of about 3,300 sqm and a building of about 1,300 sqm.
