Sanofi to Invest EUR 19,5m in expanding its production plant in Miskolc

Sanofi will Invest EUR 19,5m in expanding its syringe plant in Miskolc, North Eastern Hungary. The government will pro vide an additional grant of approximately EUR 3,3m for this investment, as the minister of Trade and Foreign Affairs Peter Szijartó announced. The expansion of the Miskolc plant will increase its production capacity by 50%, meaning that they will be able to produce over 90,000 syringes per hour. Sanofi employs more than 2000 workers at its production plants and by 2022 will employ additional staff to its shared service centre in Budapest.
