Schneider Electric Polska has renegotiated its contract and extended its lease of 8,500 sqm office in the Development Park at 12 Konstruktorska Street in Warsaw. The tenant was represented in the transaction by the consulting firm Colliers.

Schneider Electric Polska, a company that offers customers consulting on the use of energy and digital resources, has again renewed its lease in a Warsaw Class A office building. Development Park is a modern complex of two buildings with a total area of 34,000 sqm. Its location in an intimate part of Biznesowy Mokotow provides not only an extremely quiet environment, but also a good connection to the rest of the capital, both by public transportation and by car. BREEAM certification at the Excellent level confirms that the building is environmentally friendly, which is an important asset for tenants looking for "green offices" that will fit into their sustainable development strategy. Another asset of the complex is the internal courtyards full of greenery with places for rest and recreation, as well as a wide range of dining and services. Tenants can seamlessly combine their professional lives with many leisure activities. The office building not only offers innovative technologies or the possibility of flexible space arrangement, but also actively supports tenants in their development. Development Park is a unique place that is also open to residents of the surrounding neighborhoods.

"Demand for office space continues to remain high. Despite earlier predictions of a drastic drop in office demand due to the pandemic and hybrid work model, followed by the outbreak of war in Ukraine, we see that the situation in the office market is stable. Companies are adapting office spaces to their individual needs in terms of functionality and are increasingly renegotiating contracts in high-quality buildings. We are pleased that also our clients, such as Schneider Electric, are choosing to stay in the comfortable space where they have been operating and developing their business so far," says Pawel Skalba, Senior Partner, Head of Office Space, Colliers.

"At Schneider Electric, we take sustainability commitments with the utmost seriousness, including in our day-to-day operations. The locations of our offices must meet all environmental standards and guarantee efficient development towards zero-carbon. Thanks to our cooperation with Colliers, we were able to work out with the landlord of the office space in the Development Park a solution that meets all sustainability needs and addresses the upcoming challenges of optimizing the way our employees use the office," says Jaroslaw Brozek, Indirect Procurement Manager at Schneider Electric.

"The idea of sustainability and reducing environmental impact professed by Schneider Electric is also close to our hearts. We put a very strong emphasis on pro-environmental measures that reduce the carbon footprint of our facilities - such as charging stations for electric cars in the underground parking lot, or upgrading the lighting in common areas, parking lots and the building's exterior with energy-efficient LED technology. We have also installed twilight sensors that adjust lighting according to the sunlight, thus reducing electricity consumption. The new measures will be implemented in the coming months. We are pleased that our efforts fit the needs and are appreciated by our long-standing tenant, who has renewed its contract with us," adds Olga Adamek, Senior Leasing Manager, EPP.
