Wave, the Gdansk-based office building constructed by Skanska has secured new tenant - LEO Pharma, which will cover a total surface area of 1,500 square meters. The total leasable space of the first stage of the Wave building is 24,800 sqm GLA, while the entire complex will include 48,000 sqm. Medusa group Silesian studio is responsible for the architectural design of the project. The building is applying for two WELL certificates – Core & Shell Certification and HealthSafety Rating. Recently, Wave has also received the Building without Barriers certificate, awarded to facilities adapted to the needs of people with disabilities, seniors and families with children. The building is equipped with the Connected by Skanska system, which allows contactless movement throughout the building, particularly important in the context of current and future epidemiological threats. Next to the Wave office building, there is an anti-smog pavement made from green concrete, which helps to reduce the level of harmful pollutants from car exhaust fumes.
