Last weekend, Slovenia adopted a new restrictions related to the coronavirus epidemic. This restrictions refers to the red list in which Slovenia has included Croatia, Austria, Serbia, Hungary, Cyprus and the Vatican. For the citizens of these countries, quarantine is mandatory with certain exceptions. Quarantine upon arrival from these countries to Slovenia can be avoided by a negative test. Quarantine is also allowed in 17 exceptions, including cross-border migrant day workers, international carriers, persons in transit or members of foreign delegations. Exceptions are urgent business or urgent family reasons, as well as medical interventions or examinations. Owners of real estate or residential vessels, as well as tenants or users of real estate, residential vessels or plots in a camp in Slovenia can also cross the border. Some exceptions also apply to close family members when traveling together. Also, all the provinces of Italy are on the red list of Slovenia, except for Calabria, which remained on the orange list.
