MIRO, the office building developed by SPEEDWELL in northern Bucharest, has received the BREEAM Excellent certification. This is the result of an assessment for its environmental, social, and economic sustainability performance.

This comes as an addition to the already existing WELL Platinum certification obtained last year by MIRO. This is the highest level of WELL certification obtained in Romania and the first project pre-certified under the new, stricter version of this methodology.

“Implementing health, well-being & safety principles in our projects has already become a practice. Building projects compliant to high standards is one of our focuses, and sustainability has always been an essential part of everything we build. We designed MIRO as an office project that focuses on well-being, where employees feel safe and comfortable working. Receiving the BREEAM Excellent and WELL certifications is an achievement we are certainly proud of.” states Didier Balcaen, CEO and Co-Founder at SPEEDWELL

MIRO offers a total of 23,000 sqm of A-class office spaces, with floor plates of over 4,500 sqm and numerous car parking places managed through a smart parking system. The building focuses on a flexible and healthy environment and combines work, leisure, facilities, and green spaces, all monitored by the newest technology on the market, in an accessible location.
Companies such as KPMG, ROVERE, CEGEKA, COS, EATON, NEOCLINIQUE, STRADALE, SPEEDWELL and MITZU are reputable tenants that have chosen MIRO as their location.

At the moment, less than 3,000 sqm of the entire surface is available for rent. Located on the top floor of the building, the space will offer future tenants a great view of the surroundings, together with top facilities and quick access to and out of the city.
