SPIE signs contract for servicing Alpha building at Airport City Gdańsk

SPIE Building Solutions has signed a contract for servicing the Alpha building under construction in the Airport City Gdańsk complex. The scope of activities includes the ongoing technical maintenance of the entire LEED v4 certified building along with the technical coordination of the warranty process.

The contract concerns the first building in the complex and is valid for an indefinite period. The service provider was selected through a tender. The scope of SPIE's activities covers the ongoing technical maintenance of the entire building along with the technical coordination of the warranty process. Alpha will include, among others access control system, CCTV television, facility management system - BMS, 2 independent power sources or electric vehicle charging stations.

"The high-tech building structure and numerous systems require maintenance and service by the most experienced specialists. On the part of SPIE, the facility will be permanently under the care of qualified technical staff, supported by an experienced Project Manager. In any case, additional support in the event of a failure will be provided by an additional mobile service team in the 24/7 formula," says Michał Owczyński - Project Group Manager at SPIE Building Solutions.

At the end of 2020, SPIE was servicing 7.2 million sqm of office and logistics space throughout Poland, employing 600 specialists.
