CTP, a developer and manager of industrial and logistics space in Continental Europe, has leased an area of 2,800 sqm to the food supplements manufacturer Sun Wave Pharma in the industrial park CTPark Bucharest South, located in the south of Bucharest, in the Popești - Leordeni area. From here, the products of the company, one of the largest manufacturers of dietary supplements on the local market, will be delivered to both Romania and Bulgaria, with the warehouse acting as a regional hub.

Ideally located between the Bucharest ring road and the future A0 motorway, about 10 km from the Piața Sudului metro station, in the vicinity of the Berceni district, CTPark Bucharest South is the first modern logistics park in the south of Bucharest and currently has an area of about 85,000 sqm, and will reach about 150,000 sqm in the next two years.

The direct and easy access from DN4, direct access on the A0 and the distance of about 900 m from the current ring road are elements that support the development of the park as a regional hub. The park where the supplements manufacturer has relocated is designed according to CTP standards to include generous green spaces and dedicated office areas, in order to provide the best possible quality of life for all those doing business in CTPark Bucharest South and their employees. Proximity to residential areas and easy access to public transport were decisive factors in the relocation of the Sun Wave Pharma warehouse.

"For an expanding company, the ability to deliver quickly within the country, but also to neighbouring markets such as Bulgaria, is a real competitive advantage, and our park south of Bucharest has the best infrastructure in the area and benefits from direct entrances from the DN4, as well as direct access to the A0. The very good connections with the main road transport arteries, as well as the proximity to urban transport, support the transformation of South Bucharest into a regional hub and we are glad that our vision is shared by our clients at Sun Wave Pharma", said Ana Dumitrache, Country Manager CTP Romania.

Sun Wave Pharma has over 13% of the Romanian dietary supplements market and has in its portfolio supplements such as Fluend, Urisan GR, Stressclean and Biosun.

The company, which in 2022 had a turnover of more than 400 million lei, has already started making deliveries from the new regional hub.

"After a spectacular growth in turnover in recent years and the assumed regional development, it was natural for us to increase capacity and modernize the warehouse from a technological point of view. In CTP we found a partner who could offer us multiple options for relocation and we chose the space taking into account the facilities, location and convenient delivery time. We believe that the partnership with CTP will extend over a long period of time; the parties come to it with the expertise and flexibility needed to maintain the business relationship for the long term," said Gabriel Baculescu, Supply Chain Director, Sun Wave.

The lease transaction was advised by real estate consultancy Colliers.

"Sun Wave Pharma is a company with ambitious growth plans. Easy to reach for employees and efficient to cover Romania and Bulgaria were the two premises in identifying the ideal industrial park for the expansion of Sun Wave Pharma. As a landlord, CTP has again demonstrated admirable flexibility in finding the most suitable solutions to quickly accommodate the tenant", added Lucian Opriș, Director Tenant Services Office 360 & Industrial Agencies Colliers.

Apart from CTPark Bucharest South, CTP owns five other industrial parks around the capital, including in the western area (CTPark Bucharest West and CTPark Bucharest on the A1 motorway) and in the northern area (CTPark Chitila, CTPark Mogoșoaia and CTPark Bucharest North).
