Swiss holding Hape takes over the largest furniture manufacturer in Sibiu

The Swiss holding company Hape, one of the world's largest toy manufacturers, has bought 85 percent of the share capital of Deko Rame in Miercurea Sibiului, the largest furniture manufacturer in Sibiu county.

Deko Rame was founded in 1999. In 2022, the company's business reached RON 50.01 million, up from RON 61.61 million a year ago.
The company works for IKEA and two other Swedish furniture manufacturers, Furninova and Spirit of Ultimate Lifestyle (SOUL). All products are manufactured in Miercurea Sibiului, Transylvania.
