Tattersall Lorenz Immobilienverwaltung und -management GmbH (Tattersall Lorenz), the owner-managed SME property manager based in Berlin, has been appointed by Union Investment to carry out the property management of an asset, this time the three-building Neuer Kanzlerplatz office project that is currently under construction in Bonn.

Completion of Buildings 1 and 2 is scheduled for the Q2 this year, with Building 3 following around a year later. Tattersall Lorenz is already involved and is organising the pre-property management of the development.

On completion, ‘Neuer Kanzlerplatz’ will provide a total lettable area of around 61,000 sqm. The largest occupier is Deutsche Post AG. Design Offices and Food Affairs have also secured space. The property includes an underground car park with 966 spaces.

Tattersall Lorenz has acted for the Hamburg-based real estate investment manager Union Investment since 2019. It currently manages 33 properties with a total lettable area of 310,000 square metres. The new scheme in Bonn will be managed from the Frankfurt office, together with an on-site presence for technical property management.

Marcel Steffens, Head of Technical Property Management at Tattersall Lorenz, comments: “Being instructed as early as the construction phase gives us the opportunity to set the basis for sustainable and efficient property management of the asset right from the start. This means that, after the buildings are completed, all the procedures required to ensure trouble-free management of the property will already be in place. We are currently involved with securing the future facility management of the buildings.”
