Tchibo industrial warehouse will be the second biggest in Czechia again
Colliers Czech Republic secured a further 29,000 sqm expansion of the Tchibo distribution center in the Panattoni Park Cheb industrial zone to the existing 73,000 sqm, which was agreed upon by the developer Panattoni and Tchibo in the first quarter of 2021. The warehouse thus ranked second behind the Amazon distribution center at Panattoni Park Prague Airport near Dobroviz in Central Bohemia. Tchibo has opened its first expantion at distribution centre in 2017 which its rentable space increased from 39,000 sqm to 73,000 sqm. The Cheb industrial zone currently occupies about 165 000 sqm and the total number of employees already exceeds 3,000. The Cheb industrial zone is owned by investor Accolade.

The Tchibo distribution center is operated by the logistics company DHL. “Since we took over the operations of Tchibo distribution center in Cheb industrial zone, we managed to provide top service quality and we supported customer’s flourishing e-shop with coffee, coffee products, and also clothing and other consumer goods. The Tchibo distribution center is used for storing, picking and sending goods to end consumers in seven European countries. After the expansion of the hall, Tchibo will be able to handle more than 50,000 pallet places. The expansion of the hall aspires to the "Excellent" rating within the prestigious BREEAM New Construction environmental certification according to the latest standards.
