The castle of the Hungarian writer Miklos Josika in Sălaj county has been put up for sale. Built in the 17th century, the building has a sale price of EUR 560,000.

“With a built-up area of the building over 3,000 sqm and generous land of over 4.5 hectares, the building is for sale and needs renovation investment to restore it to its former glory. EUR 560,000 is the list price of the building”, according to the Sotheby's International Romania announcement.

The castle from Salaj is a historical monument of local importance and has been registered as such since the beginning of the 19th century.
