The City Hall of Sector 2 finances, from the local budget, the restoration of privately owned historical monument buildings in this administrative-territorial area. The initiative comes in support of the owners of historical monuments who do not have sufficient financial resources to restore the building from their own income, therefore the last annual financial situation of the applicant will also be analyzed.

Some buildings are in an advanced state of decay and may represent a danger, due to the risk of collapse.

"These facades will be able to be restored from the local budget, with a few conditions: the owners must have the documents for the historical monument, they must have expertise that there is no seismic risk and have a project. Based on these documents, they can receive funding from the City Hall Sector 2. It's not the town hall that carries out the works, but the owners. The town hall only finances them, so everything should go better from a bureaucratic point of view," declared the mayor of Sector 2, Radu Mihaiu.
