The demand for industrial and logistics space increased by 50% in the first quarter according to a Cushman & Wakefield Echinox market report.

Bucharest continues to attract the biggest logistics investments, mainly due to the growing retail. In the first quarter of this year, CTP has already delivered 78,600 sqm in two parks, and Logicor will deliver two new warehouses by the end of the year with a total of 42,000 sqm.

The largest project to be delivered in 2022 is the WDP in Timisoara, of 57,000 sqm, where the largest tenant is Profi.

Almost 2 million square meters of industrial and logistics space have been leased in the last two years, double the total traded area in 2018 and 2019.
