The entrepreneur Cristian Ludovic Pop, the founder of Animax petshop stores chain, is preparing the construction of an office building on a plot of land located across the street from the Băneasa Shopping City mall in Bucharest.

The businessman bought 6 plots of land in Baneasa after selling his Animax petshop chain to The Rohatyn Group, in a transaction valued at around EUR 20 million. He plans to combine these lands, with a total area of approximately 7,000 sqm, with the aim of building an office building with commerce and public catering on the ground floor and mezzanine. The building will be structured on a basement, ground floor, mezzanine and 4 floors. This would be Pop's first real estate project.

The value of such a project can be estimated at around EUR 40 million.
