The government wants to ban the renting of homes that are in class I seismic risk buildings, and all mayors and directors of public institutions must visually assess the buildings. Also, it will no longer be possible to organize temporary or permanent activities that involve "agglomerations of people", meaning the simultaneous presence of at least 50 people in a room.

In December 2015, the authorities also banned economic activities in buildings with seismic risk.

"Their establishment is required, as a preventive measure, even more so, in the context of earthquakes of over 4 Mw produced recently in Romania, in the Oltenia seismic zone," it is mentioned in the document.
