The Iulius group surpassed the milestone of RON 1 billion

The Iulius Group, owned by Iulian Dascălu, reported total business of more than RON 1 billion (EUR 203 million) in 2023, the first time it exceeds this threshold, after an increase of 18.4 percent compared to the previous year, due to the real estate portfolio he manages.

The entrepreneur collected in 2023, from the five malls developed in partnership with the South Africans from Atterbury Europe (excluding Palas Iași), revenues of EUR 140 million, 7.7 percent above the result the year 2022.

The retail spaces rented in Iulius Town in Timișoara brought the highest revenues for the Iulius group, respectively EUR 41.8 million, followed by the retail spaces in the Palas complex in Iași, which generated business increasing by 14.2 percent to around EUR 36 million.

The value of the real estate portfolio owned by the Iulius and Atterbury Europe group was calculated last year at EUR 1.2 billion by the real estate consulting company Cushman & Wakefield Echinox.
