The Minister of the Environment, Mircea Fechet, announces that he is waiting for the publication in the Official Monitor of the decisions regarding the start of the Casa Verde 2024 program for photovoltaic panels. He says that this year the program will benefit from a record budget. Each project will benefit from a budget of RON 30,000, RON 10,000 more than in previous editions, the extra amount being intended to finance the storage of energy produced by photovoltaic panels.

"It was sent to the Official Monitor on Friday, it was signed and communicated to the Monitor on Friday, the hope was that it would be published on the same day, and then we stayed in that schedule which should start in four days, on September 27. We will most likely postpone all these deadlines, depending on the day on which the Official Monitor of Romania will publish this guide," said Mircea Fechet.

"We wanted very much to have a record budget this year and I can say that RON 2 billion, as much as we have allocated for Casa Verde photovoltaic panels 2024, is a budget that we have not had before today", he added. Co-financing from the beneficiaries is maintained at 10 percent of the project.
