The entrepreneurs Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl, the owners of Dedeman, are preparing the demolition of the warehouses bought from DB Schenker, to make way for a new Dedeman store, the second in Sector 1 and the eighth in Bucharest. Until the demolition is approved, the warehouses remain rented.

The Pavăl brothers bought, in April 2021, the 7.1 hectare land with warehouses from the logistics company DB Schenker, where the Ilfov Interior Customs Office, known as Chitila Customs, also operates. The transaction was estimated at over EUR 15 million.

On the land located near the Colosseum mall, there are 31 buildings proposed for demolition. Some of the buildings were no longer used and are in a state of decay.
