Entrepreneurs Dragoș and Adrian Pavăl, owners of DIY retailer Dedeman, bought the former Andami industrial platform in Bucharest's 23 August neighborhood from the Turkish Eskiocak family. The existing buildings on the land have already been demolished, and experts say that around 700 apartments or a retail park could be built instead.

"At the moment we have not determined what destination the land in question will have", the Dedeman representatives said.

The land, now owned by Dedeman, is located behind the Supernova Pantelimon shopping center, which houses Carrefour, and adjacent to the Dedeman Pantelimon store, opened in 2018. Another property neighbor is a 3.6-hectare land, also for sale, of the former manufacturer ICMA, controlled by businessman Mircea Popa.
Across the road from the Andami site is the Rams Industrial Park, whose owners have envisioned a PUZ to replace warehouses with housing and offices.
