The Turkish oil group Tupras bought two companies in Romania for EUR 32.9 million

The Turkish oil group Tupras announced that its subsidiary Enspire Enerji bought all the shares of the companies Eco Sun Niculesti S.R.L and Euromec-Ciocănari S.R.L, from the company Econergy International Limited, for EUR 32.9 million.

The Turkish company stated that Eco Sun Niculesti S.R.L. has the necessary authorizations to develop a photovoltaic park with a capacity of 214.46 megawatts in Romania and Euromec-Ciocănari S.R.L. is the company that owns the land on which the photovoltaic project is developed.

The agreement is expected to be completed by January 31, 2025, after obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant authorities as well as after obtaining authorizations to make the project ready for construction.
