TikTok opens a regional office in Poland

The platform of short videos TikTok opens its office in Poland, which will be responsible not only for the development of the Polish market, but also key markets in Central Europe, including Romania, Hungary and the Czech Republic, informed the general manager of TikTok, Sylwia Chada in Poland and Central Europe.

"In the first half of 2021, the company plans to employ several dozen people in managerial positions in the areas of new technologies, marketing, advertising and media. The main task of the Warsaw team will be to support companies in the development of their marketing presence on TikTok and build awareness of the platform in the region" - according to the press release.

"In Poland, TikTok was received with great enthusiasm, and last year we recorded an increase in the number of our users by several dozen percent. In 2020, over 600 campaigns were implemented for the largest brands in the region, such as Lidl, McDonald, Hortex, mBank, L'Oréal and Samsung. I am sure that soon even more Polish and international brands will join the group of our partners "- added Chada.
