CTP has officially opened the new TitanX Engine Cooling factory at CTPark Opole in Poland. TitanX, the global supplier of cooling systems for trucks, has now launched its production operations in the OPO3 building, which is part of the CTPark Opole industrial and logistics complex. In doing so, TitanX has increased the previously occupied space by 18,320 sq m, consolidating all engineering processes in a single investment, which was built-to-suit by CTP.

TitanX Engine Cooling, a global company with subsidiaries in Sweden, Poland, Italy, China, USA, Brazil and Mexico, develops and supplies innovative powertrain cooling systems. The company's aim is to work towards the decarbonisation of the transport sector and to support customers in the development of zero-emission vehicles. TitanX Engine Cooling works with most of the largest truck manufacturers in Europe.

"With the opening of the factory in the OPO3 building, we will be able to integrate our production processes under one roof, which will translate into a multi-faceted optimisation of our operations, and thus increase TitanX's competitiveness and business efficiency. It should also be emphasised that the space has been tailored to our precise expectations, and the CTPark Opole complex itself is distinguished by its superior usability and functionality, of which we have been convinced for almost six years now," says Cedric Huslin, CEO of TitanX.

TitanX Engine Cooling has been operating at CTPark Opole since 2018. At that time, the company leased a space of 11,582 sqm, becoming one of the first CTP tenants in Poland. Since then, it has been steadily expanding its operations in the Opole complex, taking full advantage of its strategic location between East and West Europe. In the future, there are plans to expand the plant further by almost 8,700 sqm.

"CTPark Opole is located in a strategic location, offering easy access to the A4 motorway and other key arteries leading to the Czech Republic and Germany. The fact that the investment is located in the automotive industrial cluster is of great business value to us. The Opole plant is key to increasing sales in Europe and is a milestone on the road to a sustainable future for transport. In the near term, it could also become an opportunity for TataAutoComp, the Indian conglomerate that owns TitanX, to expand its operations in this part of the continent," adds Cedric Huslin.

With the planned launch of several new solutions for automotive customers in late 2024, the TitanX branch in Opole will play a key role in the brand's expansion into the European market. In the OPO3 building, in addition to the production space, the company has also taken up office and social areas. The opening of the factory has translated into a significant increase in the number of jobs in the region - currently 150 specialists are employed there. The company expects further significant growth in this area. Indeed, Opole and its surroundings offer a talent pool that has the potential to strengthen the brand's product engineering and business processes.

"With our long-standing client TitanX Engine Cooling, we have so far signed lease agreements for a total of almost 27,000 sqm at CTPark Opole. Over the past six years, we have got to know the company's needs in detail, which greatly facilitates any joint efforts. To meet TitanX's expectations, we made the fanlights in the walls at no extra cost, and the entire OPO3 building was built-to-suit in just nine months. This is the result of solid teamwork between TitanX and CTP. Thus, the tenant was able to expand its manufacturing operations in a very short period of time and in an environment where it was gaining maturity, progressing from a logistics hub to one of the key operators in the green transport sector. In such a demanding industry as the broader automotive sector, a safe and sustainable development space is a very big asset," says Bogi Gabrovic, Deputy Country Head at CTP Poland.

In addition to TitanX Engine Cooling, companies such as Raben, UFI Filters and International Automotive Components (IAC) also have their branches at CTPark Opole.

The CTPark Opole complex will ultimately consist of a complex of four buildings, providing a total of more than 80,000 sq m of leasable space. The Opole investment, like all those in CTP’s portfolio, has been built with respect for the principles of sustainable development. It is distinguished by high environmental standards, supporting tenants in implementing their ESG strategies. CTPark Opole has been BREEAM certified and offers the possibility of installing photovoltaic systems on the roofs, as well as having a BMS system.
