UBM launches sales for rezidence Na Plzeňce in Prague’s Smíchov district
UBM Development Czechia has initiated the sale of apartments in its new project, Rezidence Na Plzeňce, located in Prague’s Smíchov district. The development will feature an eight-storey residential building with 160 apartments, designed to offer a high standard of living with a focus on sustainability. The project, currently under construction, is set for completion in 2027 and is being marketed exclusively by the real estate agency Lexxus Norton.
The apartments range in size from 28 to 112 square meters, with layouts from studio to four-room units. Most include a balcony, terrace, or garden, and the development will also provide storage cellars and underground parking spaces, including charging stations for electric vehicles. The ground floor will house four commercial units, and residents will have access to a landscaped courtyard. The building incorporates modern energy-efficient technologies, including geothermal wells, heat pumps, and photovoltaic panels. Underfloor heating will be installed throughout, with some apartments also featuring heat recovery systems.
Josef Wiedermann, Managing Director of UBM Development Czechia, highlighted that the project aligns with contemporary urban living needs by prioritizing aesthetics, functionality, and sustainability. He noted strong initial interest, with nearly 30% of the units already sold within the first month of pre-sales. Wiedermann attributed this demand to the project’s prime location, modern technology, and high living standards.
Situated along Na Plzeňce Street, the development benefits from its proximity to Smíchovské nádraží railway station. The area offers a variety of leisure options, full civic amenities, and excellent public transport connections, including metro, train, tram, and bus services. Nearby facilities include shops, restaurants, schools, healthcare centers, and cultural venues. The ongoing reconstruction of the Smíchov transport terminal is part of a broader revitalization effort that is enhancing the district’s appeal.
