Union Investment has secured a 16-year lease with the law firm Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP for approximately 2,435 square meters of office space at the renowned 140 Broadway building in New York City. The firm is set to move into its new offices in April 2025.

Part of Union Investment’s UniImmo: Europa real estate portfolio since 2004, 140 Broadway is one of New York’s most iconic skyscrapers. Originally completed in 1967, the 200-meter-tall building has undergone multiple refurbishments, offering modern, top-tier office spaces designed to meet tenants’ evolving needs.

“140 Broadway remains a prime location in New York’s financial district, attracting top tenants even in challenging market conditions. Its history, location, and ongoing upgrades ensure it continues to be a sought-after office destination,” said Ulrich Dischler, Head of Asset Management Overseas at Union Investment.

Situated in Manhattan’s financial district, the building enjoys close proximity to key landmarks such as Wall Street and the New York Stock Exchange, as well as One World Trade Center.
