Property, Administrative and Delimitation Union of Trade Unions (Majetková, správní a delimitační unie odborových svazů - MSDU OS) are offering the Art Deco Imperial Hotel in the centre of Prague for sale, for which they want at least CZK 2.15 billion. The unions will accept offers until 15 April. The five-star Art Deco Imperial Hotel on the corner of Na Poříčí and Zlatnická streets has 126 rooms and houses the Café Imperial restaurant, which is co-owned by Zdeněk Pohlreich. The hotel was opened in 1914 and renovated between 2005 and 2007. It is currently owned by the MSDU OS.

MSDU OS launched a tender for those interested in buying the hotel on Monday. "Our partners have now decided to sell the building," Jiří Bulan, who is in charge of real estate sales and rentals at the MSDU OS.

"But it certainly doesn't mean that we are completely leaving the hotel business," Bulan added. According to the server, the union also owns, for example, the Olšanka hotel building in Prague 3 and has mountain guesthouses in its portfolio.
