The logistics company UPS has begun regular flights to the Mosnov airport outside Ostrava. For Letiště Ostrava, it's the third regular cargo line to use the airport, after DHL and Uzebekistan Airways. At the moment, there's just one regular passenger link offering service to Ostrava, which is Ryanair's flight to London. At the moment, there's also a chance that LOT could begin offering flights to Warsaw, but little else is on the horizon. However, its volume of cargo rose 54 percent in 2019 and this year, the figure should rise even more. "We've picked upone of the largest logistics companies in the world and this will greatly increase the number of cargo flights," said the airport's sales director Stanislav Bujnovsky. The primary European hub for UPS is located in Cologne.
