Ursus Breweries expands brewery in Brasov

Ursus Breweries, the largest player in the beer market, has inaugurated a new bottling line, as well as new warehouses, laboratories and office space at its Brașov brewery, which will help optimise operational capacity as part of a EUR 50 million strategic investment that began in 2020.

The new bottling line is installed in a newly constructed building. To enable its integration, multiple technological improvements have been made and the approach has included various infrastructure works. In order to operate more efficiently, Ursus Breweries has also built a new warehouse on the ground floor of the new 1,800 sqm building for the storage of finished products, with another 1,200 sqm warehouse for packaging. Alongside these, the investment includes new laboratories, additional office space and new facilities for the more than 200 colleagues working in the brewery.
