VGP announces new tenant in VGP Park Prostějov - logistics company Biofer

European developer and owner of semi-industrial and logistics properties VGP has acquired a new tenant for VGP Park Prostějov. Biofer, a logistics services provider, has leased 3,250 sqm of warehouse and office space in Hall C. The latter aspires to BREEAM Very Good green certification and offers the last 6,000 sqm for lease with the possibility of expansion by a further 800 sqm. The development of the space for Biofer has already started and is expected to be completed in April next year.

VGP Park Prostějov comprises three commercial buildings in total, with Hall C being the newest and last hall in the park. The park is currently occupied by three different tenants, ITAB Shop Concept, Alfa Rent - Pente and Twd CZ, which will be joined by the domestic company Biofer next spring.

Biofer is a Czech company that has been successfully providing storage and transport services for its clients since its establishment in 2009. In the spring, it will expand in VGP Park Prostějov. It provides additional storage space for its clients with its contractual partners.

VGP Park Prostějov is located in the eastern part of Prostějov in close proximity to the train and bus stops, which provide excellent transport access to the city centre and the surrounding area. At the same time, it is close to the D1 and D46 motorways, which provide fast connections with Prague, Brno and Olomouc, as well as neighbouring countries. The extensive brownfield on the site of the former Prostějov Garment Factory has an area of over 139,000 m2. VGP offers more than 46,000 m2 of leasable space suitable for logistics or light manufacturing within three halls.
