VGP appoints Florin Stroe to lead operations in Romania

The real estate developer VGP, founded by the Belgian billionaire Jan Van Geet, appointed Florin Stroe to lead the operations in Romania. Stroe previously worked for AIC Industrial & Logistics Development and CTP Invest. The VGP Group is present in Romania with a network of five industrial parks, in Timișoara, Sibiu, Brașov, Arad and Bucharest, which are in different stages of development.

The real estate developer bought, in 2020, land in Romania with a total area of 513,000 sqm for future projects, and at the beginning of the year completed the acquisition of a land of about 25 hectares in Ștefăneștii de Jos for the first logistics park of the company in Bucharest.
