VGP, a leading developer of logistics and industrial spaces, has announced plans to construct a new factory for Swiss company VAT in its logistics park located in Arad, Romania. The facility will include production units, offices, and a canteen for employees, covering a total of 21,000 square meters.

VAT, which has been operating in Romania since 2001, will move into the new premises by the second quarter of 2025, with full operations expected to begin in early 2026.

While VGP has not disclosed the investment amount, the company had previously confirmed that VAT Global is among the new tenants it secured leases with this year. Founded in 1998 as a Belgian family-owned real estate development company, VGP now operates in 17 European countries.
