White Star Logistics will build an industrial and logistics park in Toruń for a total of almost 50,000 sqm, the company said. It will be built in the Toruń-East investment and logistics zone, near the S10 road.

"We are observing a constantly growing demand for warehouse and production space, especially when it comes to urban and suburban locations. We want the White Star Logistics platform to stand out with thoughtful locations that are well connected to expressways and highways, but also easily accessible by employees We also focus on ecological solutions: photovoltaic panels, systems enabling the reuse of water and reducing electricity consumption, and charging stations for electric vehicles," said managing partner Bartosz Szewczyk.

The investment will be implemented in two stages: The first of the halls will have an area of 27,186 sqm, and hall B - 21,426 sqm, i.e. a total of almost 50,000 sqm. As in the case of investments in Raszyn and Nowy Konik, the logistics park in Toruń will combine BIG BOX space and small modules typical for logistics and municipal production (SBU - Small Business Unit, in which a significant part will be office facilities), the company announced.

The strategy of White Star Logistics assumes the creation of a network of modern logistics centers in the most desirable places in Poland. In the first 3 years, White Star Logistics intends to implement eight warehouse projects in Poland with a total target area of over 500,000 sqm. The budget for these projects is EUR 350 million, it was recalled.

White Star Logistics is a joint venture of White Star Real Estate and Bain Capital Credit. The first is an international company with many years of experience in the real estate market, which has completed over 60 high-quality commercial and residential projects. Bain Capital Credit is a leading global credit specialist with approximately $ 48 billion in asset management.
